2 Types Of Korean Men That We Love

As diverse as the world can be, you might think that the male population has also a lot of different classifications. But if you ask me, there is only two types of guys in this world. And that is the “Manly” ones, and the ones not so manly enough that I choose to call the “Cute” ones.

In the sense of fashion, these two types also has different way of dressing up. Here are a few fashion points that simply differentiates one from the other.

1. Manly/Classy Types:

These men are simply classy in everything that they wear and look put together in whatever ensemble they are wearing. Monochromatic colors and a classy fitted jacket or blazer is a common staple in their wardrobe.

These jackets are in style almost every season. They can even pair them with slacks or even denim pants.

Something that is also in style among the manly types are the cardigans. Well we can probably say, if it’s not the jacket then it’s the cardigan in classic tones like white, brown, black, grey or navy.

Another key item in manly men’s clothing are their fitted long sleeve shirts that show off their lean and toned bodies (usually men who are in good shape will wear these). They usually wear them full or roll the sleeves up to their upper arms to show some of those muscles that they’ve been working hard on.

So these are the manly types ,and their classic dressing will capture the hearts of many girls with their manly charisma.

2. Cutie Man types:

Now, this second type of guys are the ones who like to wear cool things comfortably and freely. Their fashion staples are usually the simple shirts, sweaters and denim pants.

They like to wear shirts paired with their tattered jeans or even jagger pants. Sweat shirts are also a common thing in their fashion.

Another key piece in their fashion is the beanies or snapbacks. These accessories help to enhance their style and cool factor.

In a more formal sense, these cutie guys can also move away from the baggy clothes. They also go for those short sleeved polos in bright colours and patterns, and they sweep the hearts of girls with their cute charm along the way.

So which type do you prefer?

Great Korean Slim Cut Shirts For Guys

If you are into Korean dramas, you might have notice that the guys in the drama are always looking immaculate and well-dressed. One trend we can notice here is that the guys tend to wear slim-cut shirts and pants, which make them look tall, lean and suave.

However, slim-cut or slim-fit clothes look better on guys with slim or average build. If you are on the chubby side, you can still wear slim-cut but most likely not clothes bought off the rack, as they usually don’t fit well and might even work against you by accentuating your flaws. Its better to spend some good dimes on tailor made or bespoke shirts, and request your tailor for a slim-cut version. So how do men’s slim-cut shirts look like? Here’s some of the styles that we think are pretty nice.

Do keep in mind that plaid scarves may give off a more hip-hop look. If it’s for professional or work related purposes, then plain color scarves are more appropriate. Dark or neutral color plain scarves are always a safe bet. If you want a more unique look that stands out, perhaps you can opt for more colorful scarves like dark purple, maroon or blue. A rule of thumb is to get silk-type scarves that are more neutral in color and that you could possibly wear years from now. Think Twice Before Going For Korean Scrub Bath | Korean Culture News

In Korean drama, the Korean scrub baths are often portrayed as a relaxing activity for both Korean men and women; it is also a good way for daughters to bond with their mums, aunts, female friends and for sons to bond with their fathers and etc. However, the scrub bath towel can be  so damaging that dermatologists in Korea have even started a campaign to ban it. Is the Korean scrub really that bad?

According to the doctors, it is actually good to have scrub bath occasionally as it promotes blood circulation and helps maintain your skin velvety and feeling refreshed. People with oily skin can benefit from scrub bath, as it also reduces acne. Doctor Kim Yong Jiu, director of Dermatology department in Yonsei University College of Medicine, said, “Without scrub bath, you might accumulate oil on your skin overtime, dead skin will then accumulate because they can’t be washed off easily, acne will then start to developed.”

If you use soap, the bubbles will get clog the pores, thereby preventing your skin from breathing. For best results, one should soak in warm water for about 30 minutes before scrubbing the skin. One should never scrub their skin too hard, as there is a tendency for the epidermis to be scrubbed out, thereby damaging the skin. Mudong Wonderful World Skin Hospital Director Lee Hao Nan said, “If you scrub your skin with too much force or have it done frequently, it will cause the thinning of the skin and making it vulnerable to dangers of bacteria, carcinogenic and allergic substances, which trigger skin problems.” The white stuff during your rub bath is the epidermis and if it is scrubbed out too much, your skin will be damaged.

If you have skin inflammation, dry or sensitive skin, it is not advisable to have scrub bath. Elderly people and those who are suffering from diabetes, hypertension, lymphoma and nephritis are also not advisable to have scrub bath, as their skin will develop eczema easily.

Whether one should go for a scrub bath or not is not really important. Samsung Hospital of Jiangbei Dermatology Professor Lee Jia Rong said, “Keratinocytes will naturally fall off to create new skin; even if a person do not have scrub bath, he or she will not look much different from those who did.”
