Several trends have been happening in the Korean entertainment world. One of which is actors getting behind the camera instead and trying their hands in directing films. Another trend is suits on the red carpet. Actress from Boys Over Flowers fame Goo Hye Sun is riding both trends, but with a short twist.

Widely popular actress Goo Hye Sun appeared at the 17th Busan International Film Festival this time not as an actress but as a director, and in hot pants, instead of the traditionally required dress.

Goo attended the prestigious event on October 4 to show her movie, Peach Tree. Ditching the usual uniform of fancy dresses, the ever non-conformist wore a tailored white satin jacket with white satin hot pants. The star did not bother with stockings and showed off her smooth flawless legs with silver platform heels. Her short hair fell simply, framing her naturally-made up face. Her only accessories were pretty sparkly earrings and a bright lip showed off in a smile. The look is simple, fresh, and sexy.

Fans were wowed by the sheer genius of the look, commenting that the actor/director is “Quite clever”, “She must have made much stronger appeal”, and “She looks beautiful.”

Yoon Eun Hye is known for many things. She is an actress, an idol and always a fashionista. She proves her relentless fashion instincts yet again as she slips into a new role in the recent Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

Korean superstar Yoon Eun Hye has stretched her wings beyond her triumphed fields of acting and singing. Now turning towards the other side of the camera, Eun Hye has officially made her directorial debut with a short film, in no less than the 17th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).

Called The Knitting, her first short film has been selected to be screened in the Wide Angle section for outstanding shorts. For the occasion, Eun Hye chose to forgo her usual striking dresses and high fashion ensembles and opted for a simple black suit.

Chic and formal, the newbie director, wore a sleek tuxedo jacket over black shirt, slim pants and sexy high black heels. Her long hair in simple blow out, and with her natural makeup, the look was fresh, young, and professional all at once. Try the look in beige, gray, or a mix of that color palette to inspire a put together look.

Even her ID access card caught the attention of fans. Eun Hye posed with her signature enigmatic smile, making the access card a memento to covet once the film festival ends.

Eun Hye is now working to add a degree to her accomplishments. She entered the Graduate School of Advanced Imaging Science, Multimedia & Film at Chungang University in March and has been studying film making there.
