Korean celebrities wearing the same fashion outfit is the perfect catalyst for the ever ubiquitous question—“who wore it better?”
Such was the case for the beautiful members of idol group f(x), Victoria and Krystal, and model and actress Lee Yeon Hee. All three girls are under the same talent management company SM Entertainment, and they were all photographed wearing the same dress.
The dress is from the diffusion line Marc by Marc Jacobs in 2012 F/W collection. It was shown in orange-red and cobalt blue, cut with a high feminine waist line down to a black skirt, with unique color-block and sleeve and collar detail. The look is a little bit mod, a dash of preppy, and overall youthful and girly.
The twenty-year-old fashion icons wore the dress in their respective magazine photo shoots. Lee Yeon Hee wore its orange version in a pictorial for Instyle. Her hair loose around her naturally made up face, save for a stern orange pout, Lee Yeon Hee posed against an autumn background.
f(x) girls Victoria and Krystal on the other hand wore the same dress for Marc Jacobs’ watch pictorial for Marie Claire magazine. Posing as twin sisters, Krystal wore the orange version while elder Victoria wore the dress in blue. Their hair in messy ponytails, the look is cute and playful against a white background, the metallic watches perched on their wrists.
Krystal took her choice of preppy color on a different ensemble for the fashion house, wearing an autumn red loose sweater over a red and blue, two-color polka dot skirt. Victoria merged red, white and blue, color-block style in a baggy-chic pullover of her own.
The overall look for the three girls in the chic dress was natural makeup, windblown hair and a bold puckered lip. So, who do you think wore it better?
